Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon are a fantastic combination. This movie was everything that I expected from the duo and much more. The movie delves into one of the many conspiracy theories regarding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and the script is air tight, though not completely believable.

Matt Damon stars as Lieutenant Miller in-charge of finding the WMD after the invasion of Iraq in 2003. After repeatedly hitting a dead end in finding WMDs based on apparently solid intelligence reports, Miller begins to question the source of all the intelligence regarding the WMDs. He finds a like minded CIA agent who suspects something isn't right and they try to get to the bottom of things. Most of the movie is shot with hand-held cameras, I loved it but some people absolutely hate this style of shooting. All the scenes shot in low light are grainy, probably because the director has chosen to shoot these scenes with a high iso and hasn't taken the usual route of shooting with external light. It gives a realistic fell to the film.

The movie keeps you hooked right to the very end and doesn't wander into unnecessary sub-plots. The backgrounds score creates the perfect mood for this war movie.
